Baynard’s Castle tonight pool with Eddie and Paul. Most unwillingly I left them there at nine (they’d said they wouldn’t drink any more) but now the madness has passed. Got back here just after ten with plaice and chips even now only 11.25. Rang Wendy twice, from London Bridge and here – how feeble I am.
