Class tonight quite enjoyable. John actually showed some enthusiasm, for a Roald Dahl story, proved well capable of noticing things in what he reads – difficult to know quite how much intelligence may lie at the bottom of such a well of apathy. Certainly an effort to wind it up. Nevertheless he does come to classes.
