… Read a little of Bowra’s Heritage of Symbolism and set off towards Norwich about 10.30. via almost Ely almost Newmarket and then a long ride to the bus station at Norwich … went out about 7.30 … various pubs, having at a rough estimate 9 bottles of Guiness and two Manns … excellent evening
