Sunday 9 June 1985: Outwell

Ted came over … took me to Upwell where I bought an Observer, returning home via nan’s to find Jim waiting for me … To the Crown squash club where he whupped me at snooker. He hinted we might stay … but I preferred to be in the Crown pub as near noon as possible.
