Wednesday 21 January 1976: Cambridge

Dashed all day like Liza – and how I do! – and had a tight pain in my chest all day long. It gets on my nerves to tell you the truth. Once again my best intentions of abstinence came to nought when Staveley came round lunchtime and I enjoyed 3 pints with him in the Eagle.
