United beaten at home in Cup by Tottenham bastards was dispiriting, the more so as only ourselves to blame.
It occurred to me this evening I wouldn’t mind working for B.B.C. or at any rate in something connected with the arts – well, with intellectual work I mean rather, not arts in the poncy narrow sense.
