Reds agin Newcastle 11 to 1 $16 PPV. Ted suited & booted since afore kick off, sports jacket on, Corona afore breakfast. I put off first drink, half time fry, Fox for 23 oz. Harp then OTB various deux chevaux. Wendy did pork chops, roasties, Ted asleep by 9.30 after beating me 1–0 crib

Slept until ¼ to 12 then into town for meal at the Mensa. Returned almost immediately (as almost as half hour’s walk away can be) read a little Heller, slept, wrote to mum, read, posted letter … into town for evening meal, returned, read slept again. In this last sleep … quite a complicated dream
