‘Computer.’
I nodded sagely and resumed my bench seat at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport, uncomfortably wrong side of passport control. It was nothing new.
After five minutes or so – one cigarette time, say – a man of authority appeared… deep early afternoon shadow, unlike schoolboys who manned booths and carefully scrutinised you florid yet unabashed fluffy faces.
